A journey with many facets.
Host, BarArtist and creative mind — my story has many facets. What connects them is my enthusiasm for people, design and new ideas.
My professional journey began in Istanbul, where I discovered my passion for bars, cocktails and meeting people. In 1998, my path brought me to Germany.
That passion led to international performances, championships and positions of responsibility in hospitality and hotels. As a four-time former German champion and European runner-up in flair bartending, I have experienced special moments on stage and shared my knowledge with fellow bartenders.
Creative work with technology and media has developed alongside my career behind the bar. As a Creative Art Director, I delivered projects independently — from the initial idea and design through 3D modelling and animation to editing and sound. Today, I am deeply interested in AI, software development and programming.

Bar culture & people
Cocktails, gin, wine, whisky and rum are as much a part of my experience as bar development, consulting and improving operational performance. Sharing knowledge, supporting bartenders in their development and making quality tangible in day-to-day service matter particularly to me.

Selected milestones from my professional and creative journey.
Motel One Stuttgart
As Cluster Lead Bartender and gin expert, I supported the Stuttgart-Mitte and Hauptbahnhof locations. I also trained and mentored bartenders during pre-openings, preparing them for their roles in newly opened hotels. My focus was on efficient workflows, implementing brand standards and maintaining consistently high service quality.
Creative art & digital media
As a Creative Art Director, I delivered specialist projects for various agencies — from visualising internal combustion engines and commercial dishwashers to TV commercials and interior design projects. My work included 3D modelling, rendering, animation, and editing and finishing moving images. I also managed websites using content management systems and adapted user interfaces for POS systems.
International performances
Flair bartending, cocktail creations and fire shows took me to international stages and special events. I combine precise craftsmanship with entertainment and personal interaction with the audience. I have also shared my knowledge through training with bartenders from Europe and the USA.
Germany
In 1998, my journey brought me to Germany, where I continued my career in bars, hospitality and hotels. I developed a cocktail service station for more efficient workflows and shared my knowledge by training bartenders. Shows and competitions accompanied that journey, along with my development into a multiple German champion and European runner-up in flair bartending.
Istanbul
Born and trained in Istanbul-Bakırköy, I began my professional career at the age of 18. I gained experience and took on leadership responsibilities in well-known bars in Turkey. This is where my passion for mixology, flair bartending and the combination of craft and entertainment developed — before my path brought me to Germany in 1998.

Baden-Württemberg state championship at the RNF studios — broadcast live on satellite television to 100,000 viewers.

After a hot and hopefully restful summer, it is time to focus fully on our guests again. For some, a new challenge is beginning; others want to prove themselves as newcomers and seize an opportunity to develop. Hospitality reminds us just how important motivation, teamwork and passion are. With Oktoberfest approaching, preparations are already in full swing. The task now is to carry that renewed energy through to New Year’s Eve. I wish everyone in hospitality a successful final quarter: satisfied guests, strong teams, excellent revenue and a healthy cost of goods. Here’s to a successful and welcoming end-of-year season!

Sometimes a circle takes 26 years to close. The “Isla del Oro” presented today is the next stage in the development of my “Oro Liquido”, created in 2000 at the legendary Mandarin Oriental in Singapore. As the Turkish cocktail champion, I had the opportunity to represent my country at the World Championship in Singapore. It was then that I met Amando Lopez Ortiz IV — the beginning of a lifelong friendship and close collaboration within the German delegation and the Baden-Württemberg section. My special thanks go to my mentors at Millennium & Copthorne Hotels Stuttgart, particularly director Marie-Beatrice Lallemand and F&B Director Frank Heller, for their valuable support during this formative period. After my time as head bartender at Phantom Bar Stuttgart, I had the privilege of helping to shape this scene alongside exceptional people.
